Featuring baseball’ ace pitcher Masahiro Tanaka（also known as Ma-kun）from the New York Yankees, the campaign will start on national TV on June 8th.
While attending a press conference, Masahiro Tanaka (Ma-kun) answers questions about his performance to a range of foreign journalists and through a genuine reply invites the audience to learn more about GeneLife’s. To celebrate the introduction of the campaign with Masahiro Tanaka, price of GeneLife Genesis 2.0 will be reduced from ¥29,800 to ¥19,800 for the period 8th of June to 31st of August 2018.
- GeneLife SPORTS: Recently launched in April 2018, the new kit focuses on the analysis of one gene to understand one’s muscle type. Retail price is set at ¥3,980 for web report version and ¥5,980 for paper report version.

About Masahiro Tanaka
Masahiro Tanaka (田中 将大), born November 1, 1988, 29 years old. During the NPB amateur player draft in September 2006, 4 teams selected Tanaka Masahiro in their first-round picks. The Golden Eagles drew the winning straw and signed him off. He was awarded Rookie of the Year, in the first year of his career. He subsequently won many awards, including Best Nine Award, Eiji Sawamura Award, Golden Glove Award and NPB ERA champion. In 2013, he recorded wins for 24 consecutive games, leading the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles to win their first championship of the Pacific League and the Japan Series. Since 2014, he been playing with the Yankees.
